Under diluted city stars
Miles apart
I feel you here
Curled against my spine
Perfect quotations
You seep into my clever skin
And expand from the inside
And I am effervesce
We speak volumes
Without needing words
You flow into my heart
And out
With the efficiency of my own blood
Perhaps that's what you've always been
The oxygen feeding me for another day
And even miles apart
Under diluted city stars
I am never alone.
