Words Never Said

And I hadn’t realized the importance of words until now
You can talk all you want without making a sound
But the reality of thunder
Is that no storm is complete without the lightning
And life is all about finding
The right words to say
and when hearts go silent and tongues go still
The world stops spinning, think what you will
But the silence gets louder with every dry breath
Until you forget them, all the words we never said.
