Dreams
You’re in your room all dressed for bed
You fluff your pillow and rest your head
You close your eyes and count the sheep
Before you know you’re fast asleep
You find yourself running through fields
And fighting monsters with your silver shield
You’re the queen of the castle pretty as can be
And you’re the captain of a ship sailing through the sea
You’re a rock star performing in front of a crowd
And a pilot of a plane, flying through the clouds
You wake from your dreams
Oh how crazy they seemed to be
But you have to go about your day
Until the next time you drift away
Before you know it you’ll be in bed
Fluffing your pillow to rest your head
You’ll close your eyes and count the sheep
And you’ll be back in your dreams but really fast asleep
