Shiny and bright like pebbles in sunlight,
I caw to you, my raven.
Ebony bright, your feathers are light,
I call to you, my raven.
Clever and sly, you catch my eye,
I sing to you, my raven.
Grandfather knows of the cleverest bird,
I praise you, my raven.
Tricky and slick, you never stick,
I watch you, my raven.
Nobel and old, you have a heart of gold,
I admire you, my raven.
Mischievous cluck, you have too much luck,
It’s unfair, my raven.
Playful and dandy, collecting candy,
I dance for you, my raven.
Shifty and couth, you know the truth,
I am aware, like you, my raven.
Mysterious air, we are a pair,
I’m in love, my raven.

I wrote this on a whim with a certain someone's eyes in mind. I just love the imagery of Raven's as iconic birds.
