Rule The World
I saw someone today
Just standing in the crowd
His thoughts drifting in flowers in may
And on his head there sat a crown
He came up to me and spoke real wise
"Who are you really?" said he
"I see you behind that disguise.
Don't deny it, because really you're me."
I stared at him in shock and frustration
Not knowing how to support my case
"Living in a world of imagination."
I just ran away and he n=began to chase
"Why are you running?" he wanted to know
"Hiding, scared out of your mind.
Let's just stop going to and fro.
Don't you see you're not that kind?"
So I faced him with a sad look on my face
I said "I'm human and yet you're not."
He looked at me in a daze
He said, "Please just give it a shot."
"Then take off that crown and look at yourself!
Is that what you want me to be?" I yelled.
Just go away back into yourself
He turned away and just propelled
I saw someone today
Just standing in the crowd
His thoughts drifting in flowers in may
And on his head there sat a crown
Really he was alone and afraid
Not at all what he made us both think
Unfortunately that's how he was made
