I walk in the dark
Wishing I could find you there
Your arrow not hitting the mark
Wishin’ I could run my fingers through your hair

Now I have a broken heart
My life is now over
Now I am sober
With a brand new start
Thinks to you I have turned around
Something’s are still upside down

First off, let me say thank you for serving our country. I really appreciate and honor you. Second, you're a great writer! This is an absolutely beautiful poem. It really touched my heart. I especially like how you added rhyme to the lines. It made it stand out. I love your last line!! Great job; I'm really impressed.

Sweet, Short and straight to the point!  When you said "sober" for some reason I thought about  sobber from alcohol. I aslo liked the last two lines at the end, it ended your poem nicely.
