God Judges Me
Eyes fixated on the cross
The Priest blesses the family,
And I.
My Appearance is unknown in this setting
And people stare at me.
One by one they look me over
Wondering what I have gotten myself into over the years,
Pondering on how I got myself back here.
I am here, laid out in front of God
Him being the only one who can judge me now.
The sad expressions toward what I have become
Is produced by my poorly covered scars and my deathly stench.
I am open to everyone’s opinion
With no way to defend myself
Because of that one time
I kicked the chair.
