quiet, nature is not
for you. It’s busy, and
loud, and teeming with
life in every direction,
and god is it beautiful.
We have a tendency
to drown out our
surroundings with
noises we deem more
important than bird-
song. If you walk through
the woods with headphones
on, you’ve missed the
point. Humanity is arrogant.
Our impediment is listening.
