I forgot the truth
when you forgot the lie
I relived a terror
and you just lay benign
I prayed the angels take me away
you prayed the devil make me
stay
I swear everything in me shattered
you went and took all that
mattered
I sweat, chill, and fever
you told them you would leave
me here
I died that day and then came back
you threw the rope, I returned
your slack
I grew stronger without fear
you tryed to call me back
there
I smiled and savored the new day
you can no longer see the way
when will you
finally
forget
me
