Do They Know?
They Look To You In Fear,
They Boo At You And Jeer.
Their Outlook Always The Same,
But They Don't See Your Pain.
You Look To Them With A Frown,
They Think Of You As Some Sort Of Clown.
You Plot Their Demise,
Because Hatred Has Clouded Your Eyes.
One Brave Soul,
Approaches You All Alone.
They Say A Simple Word,
A Word You'd Never Heard.
You Jump Back In Fear,
As Your Eyes Begin To Tear.
You Ask How They Knew,
They Tell You They Know What You're Going Through.
You Look To Them In Shock,
Because They Are The Star Jock.
They Say To You That You Were Never Alone,
That They All Have Problems At Home.
They Ask For Your Name,
And You See They Share Your Pain.
You See Their Face,
And Realize They Too Run Your Race.
In The End When All Was Lost,
You Didn't Care, No Matter The Cost.
You See You Find,
There's Somebody In Whom To Confide.
The Pain Slowly Fades,
As You Carry On Your Days.
