After all these years
I finally put it together
Now I shattered it
Into million pieces

Each piece of my heart
I picked up
Has your name on it

I close my eyes
Each sweet memory
Of us
Fill my mind
I couldn't help
But smile

When I open my eyes
I'm back in the cold, dark room
The pieces are just lying there
I'm scared now

All I know now
Is this
I LOVE YOU!!!

The author's comments:
I wrote this poem thinking that it would belong to the one i was dating at my school but after i broke up with him and starting to talk to my friend that i have known for 4 years but haven't met in person yet, I start to realize that i was wrong. The poem wasn't for that person. its for my friend. he has been there for me fighting by myside and always proving to me that he loves me.
