Stalin and Mao and Hitler
All had their fair share of
Insanity but the voices in
My head rake apart my
Cerebellum and force
My larnyx closed and I
Swear that there is a
Revolution of terror and
Equivocating violence
Trampling my heart as
Thousands of young men
Infected with cruelty
Hammer out their mother’s
Eyes and stampede my
Resolve until I am bled dry
And even my reflection fears
The monster I did not create
On the other side of the looking glass.
I am so scared, and I am so dead.
