Basketball season is on its way
It is my favorite sport to play
I always practice at home
but when I do I play alone

During athletics I play volleyball
So I don't get to practice at all
Some days I just want to leave
and go practice with my team

Basketball is like my life
I would never have to think twice
When I play I feel free
I can be whoever I want to be

Hearing the balls bounce up and down
It is just my favorite sound
When I see my team working together
I know it can't get any better

When I run up the court
I pay attention to nothing more
Basketball is my life
