Once Again
Minutes pass as hours
When spent in anticipation.
Sitting listlessly
Watching the clock
Spit out seconds.
Ignore the clock
Forget the seconds
But to no avail,
Curiosity wins over
So time slowly drags onward.
A word and you
Grinning, waiting,
Leisurely watching
As time stops
Then starts like lightening
Sprinting leaping
Seconds ticking like wildfire
Reluctance to go
Yearning to stay
Dying to stay
One more kiss
One more goodbye
And goodbye it is
And again time is still.
