Moving On
A word is said, a lesson is learned
It may not be what you or I want
But we both know it's for the best
Two opposites colliding, then tearing apart
As a flower wilts, a season changes
I've turned a new chapter on my life
And so have you
It was all so sudden; destined to happen
Seems like everything turned out right though
Every thought, action, and attempt turned out the way it should
I don't know exactly where we stand now
But life goes on; keeps getting better
One day, we'll look back at this and laugh
Maybe together, maybe in two incredibly different worlds
