Never judge a book you've never read!

A good person
Helps anyone
Even if they don't know the person

A good person
Is there for anyone
Who is in need
Or not in need

A good person
Doesn't take a no
If someone is going through a lot

A good person
Is someone who cares
Who cares about everything and everyone
Even if they don't know the person

A good person
Is someone
Like me

I wrote this because some people get a good person mixed up with a bad person.

I have not failed, I just found 10,000 ways to not succeed.

All that we see or seem is but a dream within a dream.

Yeah, the ending of it is a little arrogant in a way. I would also be careful with using that as well. But the rest of the poem seems to be the stereotypes we think of good people, who not much of us are in this context.

“You have brains in your head. You have feet in your shoes. You can steer yourself any direction you choose. You're on your own. And you know what you know. And YOU are the one who'll decide where to go...”
― Dr. Seuss, Oh, the Places You'll Go!

You're giving yourself some good chances for play-on-words with this. The first stanza, especially, where you can play with the word "one." Remember that poetry is very big on the usage of words in their many facets, so have some fun with all that the words have to offer you. I would also be careful with the ending, because stereotypically a person who says "I am a good person" is usually either not or wanting attention (not saying you are, but this is just what people tend to think- a forewarning.) Think of a humble-sounding way to present that you think you are a good person. Don't get me wrong, it isn't bad to think you're a good person, but presentation is half of the battle to convince anyone else you are. Keep going with this one! It's worth another draft :)
