I'm Lost
Love determines heartbreaks path
Hate just follows the Devil's math
We used to sing about the glorious sea
now when I sing I find it's just me
So I'll lie on the grass of a freshy cut lawn
Wondering why it is we go on
During the day I stare at the sky
And questioning when it is I will die
But during the night I stare at the stars
Listening to the whispers of idiling cars
Sometimes I wander about all alone
Wondering why you don't answer your phone
I know I'm not normal this isn't new news
It's also not normal that you drown your sorrow's in boose
A lonely girl, a lonely boy
Each slyly playing coy
It's just a game of who likes who
Each person's step exaclty on cue
Who know's where we're going
I hope my fear isn't showing
But someday we'll see
Exaclty where we're meant to be
It's no longer the game
Because we can each feel that flame
Of what drives us in heart
And it takes us back to the start
As we're just boy's and girl's
Searching for pearl's
And finding our path
Not getting lost in that math
Wondering where it is that we go
