Singing in the Car
You sing in the car,
no shame and nothing to hide.
I look at you
and I see the way you sing.
The look you have, how serious you get.
It's so sweet to me.
I love your voice,
just so perfect it sounds.
It's no wonder how i get those chills.
Suddenly, you stop.
Disappointment fills me, longing for you to go on.
You just change the song, and then you start to sing again.
I get those chills again and I smile.
You look at me for just a second, I stop smiling.
I get a little embarrassed,
but I start again
when you look away.
