I look in your eyes,
And I see my reflection.
I remember the first time,
I ever saw you.
Your glistening brown hair,
Country accent,
Love of animals,
I saw ... ...
Me.
I look in your eyes
Now I see love.
The first time you hugged me and
Held me close to your ear , and
Whispered "I love you."
I looked in your eyes
Before I really knew you.
I saw hatred
Patheticness
All I saw was carelessness.
But I look in your eyes now,
And I see love.
When you wrapped me in your arms At the military ball.
When you told me, I was beautiful.
I saw love.
