The Edge of Desire
Alone dandelion stood outside my window today.
Shy on the side of the yard in the shade.
Calls to me shatter the glass.
The ramparts float into the shallow breeze.
And as they go, memories return; trade winds carry them over oceans of fallen times.
Foundations rattle below, and once again I'm stranded on the edge of desire.
