I Know You'll Walk Away
You say you love me,
You ask me if I'm happy.
I smile and say "of course",
knowing you don't see.
You are something special,
But I haven't told the truth.
You do mean the world to me,
But I'm scared of you.
My friends say I should leave,
But I know I have to stay.
It's like when we're alone,
All the problems go away.
I can't be honest,
And I can't stand to be rude.
It's like if I am,
I'm not sure what you'll do.
You make me cry,
Almost everyday.
But I know I can't tell you,
Because you'll walk away..
