I could have had it all

I could have fulfilled my capacity

I could have followed that steady path planned

But instead I silently bettered myself

They think I’m down but I’ve only risen

They think I’m broken but really I’ve become bullet proof

Nothing can touch me anymore

I am stronger

But as a fighter, I have to conceal my strengths to win

But I can still see them

The enemy cannot see all I can do

My power is wearing camouflage

They think they’re breaking me down, they think that my faults have weakened me

It has done just the opposite

It is all of the shots that have been aimed in my direction that have built me up

To be bullet proof

I am invincible

I am immune to their words, their weapons

I am freed
