A Wonderful Waterfall

The brisk water escapes it's home at the falls.
Sprinkling itself onto the new paths of life.
From behind the waterfall a voice is hushed.
The secret whispers still escape through the foggy cracks.
Under the waterfall a whole family rests.
There once was a day when they splashed and played.
Now they sleep in the arms of a monster.
The waterfall catches the eye of a young family, all excited to have some fun.
The falls will provide that warm feeling they all hoped for.
But the others know there will be a turn of events once the day is done.
