Anguish's Prey
Drowning eyes may be blinded by tears,
but they sure can see more in depth than any other.
Being suffocated through various years
Can surely haunt those who seek some cover.
Anguish is like a Black Widow slowly seeking its prey
It hunts day and night for that innocent tasting quarry.
It pounces on the vulnerable and sucks them all away
Then bitterly leaves the bones and marrow only to go moldy.
The decaying bones, barely alive, manage to still walk on,
But the Widow spoils their goal to survive with anxiety.
The tarnished life of the bones finds its way till dawn
When venom fully pollutes the heart of its devoured entity.
