When I was talking to Jesus
Jesus told me
To love the girl
With the deformed mouth
I said
But she won't make me
popular
Jesus told me
To love the boy
With downs syndrome
I said
But I won't be able to
communicate
But I told colleges
I love meeting new friends
I love helping special needs kids
But I told God
Oh, just not them
See I made exceptions
Before I made the rule
And once they were made
I didn't want to play the game
And I always say
To have a winner
There's gotta be a loser
But what I never told the colleges
Is that I'll never win.
