she is beautiful
I struggle to understand
why she herself cannot see it
her eyes deceive so well
so crystal clear you would never guess
the dark crime they’re committing
behind closed doors
her hands tremble
her soul shakes
frantically searching for
an answer she will never know
I dream of the night
I will have the courage
to clasp her hand in mine
and get her out of this place
