A Summer Day
The smell of the green grass
The rush of the warm breeze
The hot summer sun
On days like these, times seems to freeze
I wake up to the sound of birds chirping
In no rush at all
I could go to the beach or the park
Or maybe get together with neighbors and play ball
I decide to go for a walk
There are children everywhere having fun
Singing, jumping and laughing
And just enjoying the summer sun
These are the days I live for
When I can do everything my own way
Just hang out and relax
On a beautiful summer day
