Revenge of the Dead
It is the most horrifying event I have ever experienced. It is like living a cold death.
Pain... I feel pain.
I scream at the top of my lungs. Not a single person turns to me. Not even the slightest reaction to my suffering.
Silence... I hear silence
I am hoisted from my terror. Looking down at my lifeless body. I wonder what had all happened.
Realize... I start to realize.
My murderer disposes of the body, my body. Chunks of flesh are thrown into a bag.
Sadness... I feel sadness.
Nobody will ever know what happened, except the last person who saw me living. He doesn’t even care. The look of satisfaction on his face disgusts me.
Revenge... I want revenge.
I want him to suffer. I want him to feel what I felt Rage... I feel rage.
The thought of revenge overwhelms me. I can’t take it anymore.
I hover over him as he sleeps. How can he live with himself? It is sickening. How can he sleep so peacefully?
Plan... I start to plan.
I pick up a book and throw it across the room. He is startled from his slumber. I tear the sheets from his body
Anger... Anger overtakes me.
He screams as my fingernails strip flesh from his body. He had no idea it was me getting my revenge.
Know... I want him to know.
My fingers, drenched in his blood. I wrote my name on his wall. He looks at my name as if he saw my spirit.
Run... He runs away.
He lunges toward the stairs. As he stumbles over his own feet, he rolls down the steps.
Dead... My murderer is dead.
He felt the terror that he put me through. I can finally say it.
Free... I am free.
