Tranquility
The lightning
Crumbles,
The thunder
Screams,
The rain
Clatters
Down on that black road.
Oh, what tyranny
Rules,
The heavens
To make those skies
Cry.
Cry,
So loudly. Loud for the merciful to
Hear
But not to
Act
Upon the shrieks of terror.
Oh what mutiny,
Does the sky,
Whisper,
To part
The clouds and
Reveal the sun, to
Push that king away
To shine
Through the moving mist
Left behind by the storm
