Remember when the soldiers died,
Remember the day it happened.
Remember where the poppies lay,
In the ground day-by-day.
Remember where the poppies grow,
In the ground row-by-row.
The poppies grow where soldiers lie,
They mark their remembrance when they die.
Remember when the soldiers died,
Remember the day it happened.
Remember the gunshots,
Remember the lives.
Remember the poppies that blow in the skies.
And every year,
They grow and grow.
Between the crosses,
Row-by-row.
And every year on this day,
They grow tall and blow away.

This is very good! This reminds me of the poem "In Flanders Fields". 5 out 5!

Hi,

I like the honesty of this poem. It can surely hit home to people who can relate. Great job.

This is great. Nice job showing the cycle of years passing through the poppies :)
