Flying
Wind against my back.
Wings shudder with longing.
Birds fly by in their pack,
Lean over a cliff then - falling.
Wings open and begin to rise.
Through clouds, running on air.
Above the world and it's lies.
Flying is better with him there.
Diving the earth, children run,
They laugh and giggle as I land.
Turn back to the skies ans sun,
Claws tear up soil and sand.
Air passes and dissolves scars,
Scales and spirits soar,
Fly until the moon and stars,
Then fly on forever more.
