To the little boy without a home, I’m sorry that your mama is gone.
I’m sure you’ll do great things one day
To the woman living on welfare, I’m sorry that you can’t find a job
I’m sure you’ll find hope wherever you are
To the teacher who can’t remember his own name,
I’m sure you’ll find your memory again
To the hospital patient waiting for a lung,
I’m sure that you will be recovering soon
To the girl who thinks that the world is black,
I’m sure you can find the light again
To the rebel without a clue,
I’m sure you’ll find that you cant hold your life together with a bottle of glue
To the family in war torn country,
I’m sure that it will end one day, peace is just hard to come by
To the teenager who feels more confused than alive,
Keep dreaming, the world will give you your big chance at life
To the father who works an hour away,
I’m sure that your family loves you just the same
To the old woman in a hospital bed,
I’m sure your family will soon be by to visit
To the man in jail for a crime that he didn’t commit,
Life sucks sometimes, and we all hate to admit it
To the college student struggling to find a major
Find what you love, and never let go

I hope that readers will gain inspiration and maybe some hope from this. I don't usually write poetry so it might be a little rusty. Please comment because feedback really helps me see different things.
