What The Sun Cannot Contain
He took her hand
And slowly walked
To the center
Of the floor
He spun her
And her red dress
Unfurled into crimson ribbons
That flowed against the cold air
Shimmering red
Reflected on watching faces
She smiled
And the sun covered its eyes,
For the beauty
It could not contain
Mocked his warming glow.
