Same and Different

You laugh at me because I talk funny,
You laugh at me because I look funny,
Instead of laughing at me,
Why don’t you get to know me.
I know I talk funny and different,
It’s because of my speech impediment,
I know I look funny and different,
It’s because of my genes.
I’m not ashamed of who I am,
I’m not ashamed if I changed,
You laugh at me because I’m different,
I laugh at you because you’re all the same.
