Rainy Day
The clouds look angry.
You'd think they should look happy
Because
They have a full stomach.
Don't you feel great
After a good meal?
But
They don't look happy at all.
Their anger is rubbing off on me.
What good can come of a rainy day?
No friends want to come over
You can't play football with anyone
It's just one cold, lonely,
Rainy day.
But wait...
The clouds should be happy,
So why shouldn't I?
I can't change the weather,
But I can change my attitude.
Maybe nothing good can come
Of a rainy day...
For me,
But I'm not
The only one that matters,
Am I.
Mother Nature
Could use a well deserved drink.
All her trees and flowers
Don't look fabulous
By themselves, you know.
And besides,
Everyone needs a moment to cry,
Clouds too.
So don't be sad it's a rainy day,
Be happy
Because Mother Nature is still
Putting up with us
Silly
Impatient
Humans.
