Danger: Pen in Hand
Writing is dangerous
Whether you write your feelings
unveiling what is closest to your heart
Or if you share an opinion
striving to change the Old Ways
One way or another
you will be caught you will be punished
At least that's what society says
when they read your innermost thoughts
The ink that makes a stroke
The strokes that becomes a word
The words that form a thought
The thoughts that get you in trouble
But then again
Isn't that what writers do?
They take a walk on the wild side?
Sure am glad I'm not afraid of danger
