Dear Jesus
Dear Jesus,
Why'd you take them.
Why'd you make them leave.
Jesus please tell me,
Why forever couldn't be.
You made me watch them die,
A family we couldn't be
My mother clutching me.
I felt her soul leave,
And closed her eyes slowly
Mommy why'd we run,
daddy could have changed.
He never ment to hurt you,
To make you feel ashamed.
Mommy we should have stayed,
Then everything would be okay.
Daddy I know it hurt,
Watching mommy leave.
But as you held the gun to your head,
Did you even think of me?
