Fake Marriage
I walk into the house and hear screaming,
Not an unusual sound,
Though it pains me to listen too,
Crash. Screech. Curse.
I walk into the living room and see,
The mess they have made,
Dishes on the floor broken,
Just like them.
Hateful words,
"Disappointment"
"Pathetic"
"Irresponsible"
What kind of example are they?
I told my friend,
She doesn't believe me,
No one does,
"Perfect"
"Loving"
"Happy"
Sure that's what it is.
The knock on the door,
Glaring at one another,
They put their fake smiles on,
And open the door to the rest of the world.
