"Sticks and stones may break my bones, but words may scar my soul."

No one knows the real story
No one can know my past
A story filled with so much darkness
A past filled with too much agony
Too much to handle
Too much to share
Would only scare them all away
Would only show how close I came
Every day I struggle
Every day I survive
But darkness live inside of me
As every day I find myself fighting it
But to tell anyone
Is to admit its victory
A victory I could not bear
So I tell no one
And don’t let them guess
That at my core
Darkness dwells
A fight for life
A fight against persecutors
A fight to the death
A fight with no victor
The day I lose this fight
Is the day I die
But no one will know
That beneath this façade
Lives the devil himself
His unwilling host
His uncooperative slave
It closes in all around me
Till I can breathe no more
As I await the day to come
The day when my past takes over
Till my story comes out
A day to dread
A day to fear
A day to hope for
A day of reckoning
But no one should know my true story
Nor my true past
To do so is against all fate
Is to know too much
Is to be fated
To never forget
To never forgive
To never live
