“Sure, I can talk like you, but I choose not to, It's like an art, you know? Picasso had to prove to the world he could paint the right way, before he goes putting both eyes on the side of a face... See if you paint wrong because that's the best you can do, you just a chump. But you do it because you want to? Then you're an artist...You can take that to the grave and dig it up when you need it.”
― Neal Shusterman, Unwind

We are smothered in fiction and forgotten in reality
Baptized in tears of blood
Surrendered to the consistent blades of a corrupt society
Shrouded by clawing hands
Each representative of disingenuous scars of your wrath
Hidden from your detritus ways
Plundering alone in a corrupt civilization of tears
Bleeding your swells of violet

We are one but we are many
Lost in the shallow waters of anarchy
Splicing the veins that direct us toward heaven
Linking those that bathe us in the runes of hell

We are desolate plains of nothingness
Beseeching the will of many
On the emaciated hearts of the few

We triumph over prosperity
Dining on your callous attempts of leadership
Spiking your capsized lectures into the depths of damnation

We are few but we are all
Testing the murky waters of humanity
Pillaging weaker hearts as we move along
Signing our name upon the desperation we reap
Singing of victories yet to be sewn
Lingering in your moment of frailty
Concealed in conservative strength

You remain hardened by us
Blaming yourself
Man is not the heart of all evil
We are where the evils lie
We, the fallen
