My cheeks lit when he asked me
Bright pink color; bought the beautiful dress,
To match
Bright pink shoes
Night set, used is what I became
Thought it’d all be perfect
In my plan, nothing could go wrong
Night was built on false pretenses
Like in the movies
Me, my dress and my
Bright pink shoes
Chewed up, and spit out; without a thought
