High school
Time is your best friend
You watch the clock every five minutes of each and everyday
Year, go by so fast
Freshmen
Sophomore
Juniors
Then the big one
Your seniors
Wanting to be done
Time
Scared but happy at the same time
Then boom it hits you
Like water hitting the rocks
You’re going to graduate
You were happy to finally leave
Why so scared now?
You take your last look before walking out these doors
The doors you went through all these years
You look back
See people crying
Some smiling
You turn
Breathe
Then whisper ever so light
I’m going to miss this wishing those days hadn’t gone by so fast.
