Halloween
Melancholy nights often lay asleep,
Except when Halloween leaps about.
Ghost sheets, pumpkin faces,
Skeleton costumes, and monster masks
Crowd the streets, wanting something to eat.
So we give them treats- candy corns,
Chocolate bars, and sweet popcorn balls.
The brave souls who dare not give these spirits
Of the night treats are doomed to face trickery.
My, my, what a bizarre holiday it is.
