They say we jocks are stupid
When were in the weight room it looks like we were shot by cupid
In love with machines and weights
While everyone else just rates
We are at the bottom of the IQ list, it’s just our fates
People think its just a ball in my hand
But I know this ball has a mind that can make this team play like a band
I try and try and try to make them understand
But all the do is pry and pry and pry at the idea of a jock being smart
Im yelling out “hatas stop hatin”
Just because all im doin is playin
And still smarter than you while your studyin

I laugh cause I have a 27 ACT to put into my bank
Along with a 4.0/5.0 GPA as my pocket change
But I just sit and laugh at the rank
And it might be strange
But I’m not the only one
There have been other “Jocks” that have accomplished this and said yes I’m done
Now I say what’s up with everyone stereotyping thinking it’s fun
It’s really not, sorry, no pun intended
While my knowledge keeps becoming extended
I am still in the back of the room, laughing, saying this is splendid.
