Everyday I suffer
Waiting to be saved
Screaming for the world
Hearing only pain

Thoughts barely forming

As false promises remain

Becoming the only solid thought

Forming in my brain


The pain subsides

The numbing begins

For this is the life

I was chosen to live

Well were learning about the war in Sierra Leone and how kids were being murdered or turned into soldiers. and about all the horrible things that happened during that time. So that kind of inspired me to write this.
