Charming

My life is not a fairytale.
There’s no prince charming
Waiting with his white stead,
To carry me into a love a base
I’m not a wealthy princess
From many stories I heard
As a kid if the shoe fits, his yours.
Or true love at first site.
I’ve met many men through growing older
And not one of them hit that spark.
Prince charming? Probably not in my life.
