Goodbye
As I sit here crying,
The butterflies flutter,
As thoughts of you,
Play through my mind
Was it so wrong,
To feel this way,
About you?
To dream of you,
And your warm smile,
So pure, so loving,
And of your touch,
So magical and gentle.
My heart had never felt,
like that before.
But now its all over,
No longer will I see,
The face I came to love,
or hear the voice,
that sent shivers down my spine.
My soul will cry,
When you say goodbye.
