When things made sence
It was mid summer when you left
For days my heart was empty
Bitterness filled my body and
My heart shattered into two
All I could think about was the memories
Grandma was in great denial
I could tell her heart was hurting
Seeing you lie there was the worst
Helpless and cold
I planted a kiss on your forehead
Everyone came to share the sorrows
That day on I never understood
I offered my self
I prayed repeatedly upon days
I asked for only one more
The seasons now pass with time
As the snow falls and the rain hits
Its you that will never see this again
Every night I shed my tears
I make sure your watching above me
