Broken
How do you know if you’re truly broken?
It can’t be like in the song by Seether, not at all.
They sing about love, but they’re words had been misspoken
And back to each other they do crawl.
Does being broken mean pieces are missing?
Like everyone is a puzzle with pieces that will never come back?
Some people say they’re whole, but they keep dismissing
The pieces they left behind on the rack.
How would I know if I’m broken in general?
I think I’ve left pieces behind, or some got lost.
But how can I know, is there some call?
All of my resources, I believe are now exhaust
Broken: weakened, infirmed
That sounds like me, to me at least
But is the matter really confirmed?
Or should I let the matter cease?
