The first time we met
You swore i'd fall for you
I laughed and shook my head
as if i'd never think it true
I found your personality lacking
with intellect, charm or grace
my standards weren't met
with your style nor your face
and i knew love was for fools
its fleeting and never stays
I'm practical,not a risk taker, the
attraction would be gone in days
